Haiti Product Verification of Conformity Program

Recently, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Haiti (Minist è re de l'Economy et des Finance) issued a latest announcement, authorizing relevant institutions as exclusive certification service providers to protect domestic consumers from the public health, safety, and environmental hazards caused by substandard products. Starting today, they will provide the Product Verification of Conformity Program (PVC) for product conformity assessment in Haiti.

With rich experience in implementing product conformity assessment globally, the trade and institutional service team carries out a series of certification procedures, including document review, price verification, and goods inspection, for all products within the scope of the new program control exported to Haiti, to demonstrate their compliance with relevant technical regulations and standards in Haiti. After passing the review, the institution issues a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and a Valuation Report (VR) for all goods that meet the requirements, for local customs clearance in Haiti.
